I understand how you feel. I have major depressive disorder and I have severe depressive episodes and I have been crying so much lately. Flood of tears. Sometimes I’m just emotionally numb,angry,irritable,anxious or filled with rage. I still love myself but I fear committing myself to a good man because I don’t want to be a burden and weigh him down. I don’t want him or anybody to see me when I’m like that. It’s my battle. It makes me angry. I just want to say I’m so happy for you that you found such a good boyfriend who truly loves and cares for you. It’s okay to be scared of losing him. Never give up on yourself.

This video was made a pretty long time ago butt I’m too scared to show my scars or have them uncovered even in front of my family, sometimes I feel like I need to relapse just because my scars are spaced out and it looks weird, and I also don’t want to show them in public because people may think they’re fresh or they might trigger others

I appreciate the deep reflection of the effects of the scars. Something that came to me when thinking about this is reminding myself I made the choice to stop self harming. I made it more than once. Even though there are scars I made a choice to stop and that is empowering reminder. I could have continued and I have relapsed but what has stayed true and consistent as well was the choice to stop to find alternatives the choice to love myself and say i deserve a better coping mechanism and stress relief and I sought that. The first year is hard however I have hope it gets better. Tapping into what meaning I placed on my body before the scar was present was also helpful because the positive meanings don't have to be erased just because scars are present. Learning to see the beauty even after.

There's no gene for BPD but there is a familial predisposition. According to studies at McLean hospital, having a family member with BPD puts you at a much higher risk. They estimated that up to half of the risk of getting BPD was associated with a predisposition set off by environmental factors such as trauma.

My tip is to not go to someone the person is familiar with. They may make things worse and may be one of the reasons behind this behavior. Instead, go to a counselor or a mental health advocate willing to reach out and listen in person to what is troubling them.

Im in elementary school and self harming...

My ex has this disorder though not diagnosed and no motivation to get help. He splits me. Im the best person he has had a relationship with and then when I stand up to him, have differing opinions or behave in ways he deems wrong he turns against me. Can happen very quickly. I am then a nasty, rotten, evil person. Nothing good about me. The worst. And it can be over a minor incident that a normal person would brush off. Things excalate. Im blamed. Im nothing but rubbish in his eyes. Then few days later he cant understand why im not over it as it is in the past and I must have a problem in my brain to still be upset. No apology or discussion unless I want to trigger him again. Always trying to choose words carefully and censor myself. Complete head f##k. Im healing now im out of this madness.

Therapie is a scam - I use to see some therapist´s when I was younger - they did all really care most about getting more money out of you - and they can´t heal you at all - you yourself have to face reality and save your very own a... - but if you thing I am wrong or a liar - just keep on going to a therapist - time will tell you quite sure - if your really honest to yourself.

Now I am a high school teacher that is starting a dual masters program for school counseling and mental health counseling. I want to start my RUclips channel and I can’t wait to help others. Im just scared of the comments and putting myself out there, but this video really helped 😊
